It is a beautiful building and great Decor, that made it a real pleasure to stay here. Breakfast was great, providing ample choice for all kinds of needs and in a beautiful dining area. My room was clean, airy, well presented and simple but fresh clean linen added to a very comfortable sleep. Air conditioning was really welcome as it was warm at times. The staff were first class and went out of their way to help from the little touches like ambient music at night in the lounge, to printing bus timetables when needed. The night staff were also really pleasant and appeared amenable to all kinds of request from all manner of travellers I can truly say the staff at la residence are some of the friendliest and most pleasant I have ever encountered and nothing seemed to difficult to address

The location of the hotel is quiet but very handy to the Narbonne old city centre and near the beautiful canal. Plenty of eating options around. The breakfast was well presented and tasty. Our bed was comfortable. When we asked for assistance from staff they were always helpful and understanding. We hope to return one day.

We arrived with wheelchair and were upgraded to a room on 1st floor with wet room shower and lift right opposite our door. Everyone was very kind. Breakfast was delicious - self service - but everything really fresh - freshly squeezed orange juice, soaked fruits and fresh yoghurts.. - croissants, boiled eggs ......

It's in a great location; in a quiet street, a 10 minute walk from the train station and within easy walking distance of town proper and sites of interest. The staff were exceptional with their service and professionalism. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

The location was perfect too, tucked away in a quiet street and yet just a few minutes'walk from the main square and round the corner from the canal with all its bars and restaurants.
